Financial Ombudsman complaints statistics

A Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) report confirms, complaints that they had to deal with in the last year relating to advice from IFA’s ” continue to plummet “, from 1.5% in 2011 to just 1%. The FOS confirmed the advice from banks remained the same as the previous year at some 65%. Complaints from General Insurance (other than PPI ) rose by some 31% .

Surely there is a message here, and that is to deal with a true Independent Financial Adviser and stop trusting the profligate Banking sector.
